Dr. Hilda Teresa Ramírez Alcántara holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France), a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Unidad Iztapalapa, a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France), and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She completed postdoctoral studies through the International Academy of Political & Administrative Sciences and Future Studies (IAPAS) and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (USA). At UAM Xochimilco, she founded and served for eight years as Head of the Strategy and Organizational Management Research Area. She holds the PRODEP Desirable Profile distinction awarded by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP).

She serves as a Full-Time Professor (Level C) in the Department of Economic Production within the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco.

Her research within the Socioeconomic Analysis and Management of Organizations Research Area focuses on sustainable development, organizational learning, knowledge management, strategic SME analysis, organizational studies, cooperatives, and socioeconomic management. Her academic output includes nearly 100 articles, over 80 conference papers presented at international academic forums, and active membership in the Mexican Network of Researchers in Organizational Studies (REMINEO) and IAPAS.
