Profile

Dr. Jen ai Magdalena De la Cruz Juárez holds a Ph.D. in Economics with Honors (Mención Honorífica) from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She completed postdoctoral training in Economics and Innovation Management at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco. She is currently completing her doctoral work to earn a Ph.D. in Multimodal Educational Environments and Systems at the Universidad Nacional Rosario Castellanos.

In higher education, she has served as an adjunct professor in both undergraduate and graduate programs at institutions such as the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Universidad Iberoamericana, and Universidad Panamericana. Across these institutions, she has taught courses in economics, innovation, finance, mathematics, probability, statistics, and project management.

Her teaching excellence has been recognized by Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, where she received the Teaching Performance Award (Estímulo al Desempeño Docente) in 2019. Additionally, she actively serves as an academic mentor within the Student Academic Trajectory Mentorship Program (Acompañamiento a Trayectorias Académicas del Alumnado).

Her research output includes book chapters on knowledge mobilization and university-industry linkages. She has presented her research at specialized international conferences, including LALICS (Latin American Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation, and Competence Building Systems). Furthermore, she has extensive experience supervising graduate theses and serving as a peer reviewer for specialized academic journals.
