Dr. César Martínez Flores holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Physical Sciences (ICF) at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), where he was awarded the Alfonso Caso Medal and received honorable mention for his doctoral research on dipolar and generalized transitions in atomic systems under extreme conditions. He completed five years of postdoctoral research fellowships at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Iztapalapa and the Institute of Nuclear Sciences (ICN) at UNAM, collaborating with established research groups in theoretical physical chemistry and quantum chemistry. He holds the rank of National Researcher Level I in the Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores (SNII).
He serves as a Full-Time Associate Professor (Level D) in the Department of Basic Sciences within the Division of Basic Sciences and Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Azcapotzalco.
His scholarly publication record includes 29 peer-reviewed articles in indexed international journals with over 260 citations, along with service as a peer reviewer for international scientific journals. He has been engaged in undergraduate education in physics and mathematics since 2016, alongside thesis supervision, scientific outreach, and paper presentations at national and international conferences.
