Professor Alinne Sánchez Paredes Torres is an Industrial Designer from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco Campus, she studied a Master´s in Industrial Design in the area of Theory and History, at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), in the Postgraduate of Industrial Design of the Faculty of Architecture and received an honorable mention for her thesis work. She began her studies for a Ph.D. in Creative Industries at the UAM Azcapotzalco Campus. Research Professor at UAM Azcapotzalco Campus with academic experience since 2002.

Her research activity focuses on emotional design and the generation of experiences through the senses, Service Design, Social Innovation, and methodologies for collaborative design. Her work in teaching focuses on the theoretical axis, with the study of the future, prospective and contemporary trends in design and design history in Mexico.

Since 2015, she has collaborated in the management and organization of the Global Goals Jam CDMX project, achieving six consecutive editions with a national and international projection, thus expanding the network of collaboration and linkage of the project.

Currently, she is the Coordinator of the Industrial Design Degree at UAM Azcapotzalco Campus and active teacher; she has taught in public and private universities in the field of industrial design and product design.
